Description
AMMONIUM BIFLUORIDE (Acid ammonium fluoride) - colourless, poorly hydroscopic crystals with rhombic lattice.
Application
Acid ammonium fluoride is applied:
• for etching of glass instead of bifluoride of ammonium fluoride and etching acid
• increases in oil recovery (debit) in wells;
• dissolution of sand in oil wells;
• washings of oil pipelines.
• as the disinfecting agent by production of alcohol;
• as industrial antiseptic agent (inhibitor of bacteria) and the anticorrosive agent at fermentation, etc.
