Hexane chemically pure

Hexane (N hexane) — the representative of a number of saturated hydrocarbons, at usual conditions represents flavourless colorless mobile liquid.
Colorless liquid with a slight smell. Possess all chemical properties characteristic of saturated hydrocarbons.
Chemical properties of hexane are typical for saturated hydrocarbons - it is rather inert, but in certain conditions enters oxidizing reactions, halogenations, nitrations, sulphochlorinations. In the conditions of reforming of N hexane it is isomerized and isohexanes and dehydrogenated to benzene.
