From solutions at temperature below 38,8 °C ZnSO4 · 7H2O (zinc vitriol), ranging from 38,8 °C to 70 °C — ZnSO4 · 6H2O crystallizes, above 70 °C are formed monohydrate of ZnSO4 · By H2O. The last is dehydrated at 238 °C. Zinc sulfate in the range of 600 — 900 °C decays on ZnO and _SO3. Weak solutions of zinc sulfate grow turbid at hydrolysis owing to allocation of deposit 3Zn (OH)2 · ZnSO4 · 4H2O.
