Karahan's mausoleum - a delightful architectural monument, ingenious creation of ancient Taraz. When finishing this construction were applied the 30th name of figured bricks. Near the mausoleum Karahan there are Dautbek's mausoleums and the restored mosque of the 8-9th centuries, opposite to the mosque excavation continues. During excursion it is possible to visit Kali-Yunus's bath striking with magnificent finishing of 11-12 centuries, exhibits of the museum of the cities of the Great Silk way are placed here. - The unique structure "Tekturmas" located at hill top near the Talas River.
The ancient settlement Taraz - a unique archaeological monument. Occupation layers of Taraz are dated the 1-19th centuries and reflect practically all history of Kazakhstan. Finds of the 10-12th centuries - the period of blossoming of the city are of special interest. Medieval Taraz was in the territory of the modern central market of the city near Mirzoyan St. and Tola bi - Bayzakova. Basic researches and excavation of the ancient settlement Taraz began only in 2011.
The ancient settlement Taraz was located on crossing of trade ways. It consisted of a citadel, Rabat and a shakhristan. A citadel and shakhristan Taraz, enclosed with fortifications, and baths settled down in the territory of the present Central market.

Fortress ruins Akyrtas. Are in 40 km. From Taraz aside Merk. Now in the territory of a complex the archeological excavations headed by institute of archeology and ethnography at National academy of Sciences of RK are conducted. Further creation of a museum complex within the republican program "Cultural heritage" is planned. The latest data obtained as a result of archaeological research allow to identify Akyrtas with the medieval city of Kasribas which was on the Great Silk way. Most of scientists believe that Akyrtas was under construction by order of the Arab commander Kuteyby of 1714-1715. The mind of tourists is blown by grandness of construction, size, the stone blocks used at construction. The foundation for a palace complex is laid on depth of 4 m. Various options of legends explain purposes of construction and the reason of its incompleteness.

- The mausoleum "Aisha-Bibi" - the monument to love and fidelity constructed in 11-12 centuries. It is the only monument in Kazakhstan and Central Asia which is completely revetted with terracotta plates.

- Regional historical krayevedechsky the museum - one of the largest museums of Kazakhstan. In the territory of the museum there is a unique, only collection of stone sculptures of the 6-10th centuries in Kazakhstan.
