Pipes polyethylene gas

Gas-pressure head pipes are intended for construction of gas pipelines, the gas and oil fields transporting the natural gases meeting the requirements of GOST 5542-87 which are not containing aromatic and the chlorinated hydrocarbons, and the air-gas mixes which are not containing the specified hydrocarbons.

Marking of a gas-pressure head pipe

Marking apply on a pipe surface with the heated metal tool or in a different way, not worsening quality of a pipe, with an interval no more than 1 m. Marking has to include the name of the enterprise and a symbol of a pipe without the word \"pipe\", date of production (month, two last figures of year). It is allowed to include other information, for example number of party, the line in marking.

Depth of a branding is no more than 0,3 mm for pipes with a nominal thickness of wall up to 6,8 mm inclusive and no more than 0,7 mm for pipes with a nominal thickness of wall more than 6,8 mm.

Appearance of a polyethylene pipe for gas

Polyethylene pipes for gas pipelines have to have smooth external and internal surfaces. The insignificant longitudinal strips and a sinuosity which are not removing pipe wall thickness out of limits of permissible deviations are allowed. On external, internal and face surfaces of pipes bubbles, cracks, sinks, foreign inclusions are not allowed.

Color of pipes for gas - yellow or black with the yellow longitudinal marking strips in number of not less than four which are evenly distributed on a pipe circle. Production of pipes without yellow strips is allowed in coordination with the consumer.

Pipes produce from polyethylene with the minimum long durability of MRS of 8,0 MPas (PE 80) and MRS of 10,0 MPas (PE 100) according to the technological documentation approved in accordance with the established procedure, use of secondary polyethylene is not allowed.
