Appearance

Potassium the hydroxide of brand A has appearance of firm scales of light green, light gray color; brands C - firm scales of light green, light gray or light lilac color; brand E - plav or scales of gray color with green lilac or brown shade.

Performance specification, safety requirements, acceptance rules, analysis methods, packaging and transportation of potassium of hydroxide have to correspond to GOST 24363 - 80.

Transportation

Potassium the hydroxide is transported all means of transport according to rules of transportations of dangerous loads which act on this type of transport.

Storage

Potassium the hydroxide is packed into glass jars with the screw - on cover from polymeric material, and also into plastic bags. Important condition of packaging is tightness. It is necessary to store in packaging of the manufacturer in dry warehouse of the covered type. Requirements of state standard specification.
